The location offered fantastic access to the lesser-known entrance for Plitvice National Park, and the stunning views just a short walk away were a highlight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable, and the delicious food, especially the cakes, added to the experience. However, we faced issues with room assignments and inconsistent hot water, which was frustrating. While the sauna had limited function, the staff’s efforts to resolve our issues were commendable.

How it stacks up, my honest take
This hotel boasts a perfect location, just a short walk from the national park entrance. With a cozy rustic chalet feel, it’s family-friendly with plenty of activities for toddlers. Though the staff were pleasant and breakfast was good, some facilities need a serious upgrade, including the children’s playground and overall maintenance.

Rustic, rustic, rustic
I loved the cozy log cabin feel of our spacious Triple Room, which was perfect for our family. We enjoyed relaxing on our private porch after exploring the stunning views of the nearby national park. The on-site petting zoo was a delightful surprise for the kids, who had the best time meeting the animals!

The wooden interior offered a cozy atmosphere, making our family feel at home. The playground was a hit with the kids, providing simple fun. However, the restaurant prices felt a bit steep, and the service could be improved regarding timely food delivery. Overall, a pleasant getaway for families looking to enjoy nature.

Scenic environments, unique wooden structures, access to hiking trails
The cleanliness left much to be desired!!! Maintenance issues were noticeable, and the pool area needed attention!!! Misleading room descriptions and poor Wi-Fi made things frustrating!!!

beautiful lakes and great cascades nearby for walks
During my stay, I loved being just a few steps away from stunning Proscansko Lake and the impressive Great Cascades, making my weekend strolls a true delight as I soaked up the breathtaking views. while the restaurant offered some solid dining options, the rooms felt a bit dated and could use a refresh.

Had a great time with friends! The outdoor plunge pool and petting zoo were fun for everyone. We also enjoyed exploring the local hiking trails. The staff was super helpful for practical tips about the area, and the meals were delicious. Perfect for groups looking to have a relaxing getaway.
One issue was the room size. it felt a bit cramped for four people. We mentioned needing more space, but that wasn’t accommodated, which was a bit disappointing.

Couple seeking cozy getaway
Spent two nights at this resort, and I gotta say, it was really nice. The breakfast was unbelievable, so many options from cold meats to homemade juices! Nothing beats waking up to snow outside the day we left, it was poetic.
It wasn't exactly cheap, though it felt manageable.
